Noble Crystal Ball 2023
Four scientists from the Department of Chemistry at UCPH try their hand at fortune telling, shortly before the Nobel Committee in Stockholm reveal the identity of this year’s Nobel laureate in Chemistry. Each speaker will nominate one or more chemists of international renown. In a short presentation, the speaker will justify the nomination, explaining what breakthrough deserves the honor. All are welcome to participate in the event.

Four researchers present their nominees: Professor Mikael Bols, Professor Kurt V. Mikkelsen, Professor Jesper Bendix and Professor Tom André Jos Vosch. Questioning panel: Professor Nikos Hatzakis, Professor Gemma C. Solomon and Associate Dean for Private and Public Sector Services at SCIENCE Jesper Wengel. The question panel will challenge the professors' choice of nominees by asking in-depth questions. The audience cast their votes by mobile phone, choosing which candidate they think should be awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry |
